Peggy Harnock

CEO, Social Media Strategist

Peggy Harnock is the driving force behind The Social Gourmet. As CEO and founder of the agency, she leads a team of driven and inspired creative minds who are dedicated to helping you reach your business goals.

Peggy’s passion for helping businesses thrive comes from being a small business owner herself. For many years, she was a professional ballroom dancer and owned her own studio. She began to build a social media community for the studio, achieving significant results with her digital marketing strategies. Her success inspired her to share what she learned, and she has helped other local businesses take their companies to the next level. She believes that the online face of your brand is the most important way to engage and connect with clients and is dedicated to helping you showcase the most amazing aspects of your brand.

Working with a well-rounded team of driven individuals is a major component of Peggy’s strategy and success.  Together, this team works to develop a completely customized message for your brand that is relevant to your industry, your goals, and most importantly, to you and the people who are interested in what you have to offer.

Amy MacLachlan

Content Writer

For over 15 years, Amy’s Bachelor of Journalism has been the driving force behind her writing and editing.  With the bulk of her work focused on the magazine world, she found her sweet spot with feature writing.  Over the past few years, Amy has branched out into other fields of content creation, such as promotional materials, digital content, and social feeds. Along with her many talents, Amy’s passion for community-building, empowering women, and supporting local endeavours led her to The Social Gourmet and made her a natural fit for our team.

Building Important Relationships

Our goal is to build a relationship with you and your business, getting to know your industry and your company spirit. We then take those relationships and build your community, allowing your business’ personality to shine through. The relationships you build online can translate into real-life customer relationships, which have a tremendous impact on your company’s return on investment.

Set Your Business Apart With Social

Peggy is a firm believer that focusing on the “social” element of social media is the key to standing out from your competition. Your online presence can make a significant difference, and it’s her mission to get you noticed. A perfect blend of brand personality and professional services is the key to reflecting who you are in the best way possible for the world to see.
